As of June 2025, there is an updated interface to the 48 EBSCO research databases / collections available from Stanislaus State.
The American Chemical Society (ACS) announced it is ending the coverage of fees for California authors publishing Open Access in ACS journals as of June 30, 2025. This ends 3 years of "Open Access" fee coverage provided by the American Chemical Society (ACS) licensing agreement with CSU / UC / private universities in California. As of July 1, 2025, these fees will not be automatically covered by the libraries subscription agreement, but will need to be paid for by the author (e.g. grant funds) when "Open Access" is chosen..
Mergent is discontinuing their Mergent Online interface. In its place, the Stanislaus State Library now subscribes to Mergent Market Atlas. Business librarians across the California State University have reviewed this new resource and recommended it as the replacement for Mergent Online. Stan State access to Mergent Online is expected to end on June 30, 2025.

Unpaywall is a service which attempts to find full-text articles and resources available for free online (i.e. not behind a paywall). We have incorporated Unpaywall into the Stanislaus State Library OneSearch service. When you search OneSearch, if the library does not have the article in our collection, the system will also query Unpaywall, and may link to free sources for that article.
Unpaywall can also link to working papers, pre-print versions of articles, and early working paper versions of articles. See the Unpaywall tips for more information.
