Migrating myEBSCO Account Content

My EBSCO

For the new EBSCO database interface (June 2025):  If you created your own, personal EBSCOHost account in the old interface, most content will be automatically migrated to the new interface.  Some content, including persistent search links and search/publication alerts, will not be migrated.  If you created any special,  "custom " folder in the old interface, you can have it migrated to the Projects feature in the new interface (before 12/31/2025). 

Automatically Migrated:

  • Articles in MyFolder
    • Old Interface: My Folder  / Articles Folder
    • New Interface: Saved folder / Records tab
  • Saved Searches
    • Old Interface: My Folder / Saved Searches
    • New Interface: Saved folder / Searches tab

Not migrated:

  • My Folder:  Persistent Link to Searches
  • Search Alerts
  • Publication Alerts

Not automatically migrated, but available:

  • MyEBSCO Custom folders
  • Can be retrieved through 12/31/2025 using the Projects feature in the new interface.
