Alumni of CSU Stanislaus may be issued a library card once confirmed by the Alumni Association. These users may check out up to 5 items at one time from the University Library, and can use our reference and electronic database services while in the library. Loan periods vary depending on item type; review due dates on the Loan Receipt Letter sent via email. There is no charge for those with a valid Alumni Association Card.
To obtain a CSU Stanislaus Library Card:
High school students may request borrowing privileges at the University Library by submitting a completed High School Student Application for Library Borrowing Privileges (PDF). There is a $15.00 fee per semester. High school students with borrowing privileges at CSU Stanislaus may check out up to 5 items at one time and use our reference and electronic database services while in the library. To obtain a CSU Stanislaus Library card:
Students attending any campus of the California State University or University of California systems, or a Higher Education Consortium of Central California (HECCC) college, which includes Columbia College, Merced College, Modesto Junior College, Yosemite Community College, and San Joaquin Delta College, are entitled to library privileges at CSU Stanislaus. For an annual fee of $5.00, these students may obtain a CSU Stanislaus Library card and borrow materials from the library. These users may check out up to 5 items at one time and use our reference and electronic database services while in the library. Individuals not currently associated with the University or any of our consortial educational institutions may obtain a General Public Library Card for an annual fee of $35.00. These users may check out up to 5 items at one time and use our reference and electronic database services while in the library.
