Government Resources

Government information resources from the United States government and the State of California

Welcome to the Government Resources Guide

The California State University, Stanislaus Library, also known as the University Library, collects and maintains federal, state, and local government documents in order to fulfill its mission of providing “access to information resources and services that facilitate teaching, learning and research, and to provide an environment that encourages and enables those in our diverse community to expand their intellectual, cultural and artistic horizons.” The University Library was designated as a Federal Depository Library in 1964 and is committed to providing free and open access to government documents to students, faculty, and staff as well as the broader community. Our Government Documents Collection is physically located in the mobile shelving area on the first floor of the library and are separated by local, state, and federal publications.
