The California State Geoportal provides location-based government data. Users can access datasets and data visualizations for education data, energy data, water data and more.

DataQuest is a database provided by the California Department of Education that provides data and statistics about California's K-12 public educational system. Users can search by the state, county, district, school, or special education level.

DebtWatch is a database provided by the California State Treasurer's office. It contains more than 2.8 million fields of financial information detailing how much state and local governments have borrowed. The data is presented in an open data format and is updated monthly.

The Demographic Research Unit (DRU) of the California Department of Finance is designated as the single official source of demographic data for state planning and budgeting. Users can find population estimates, projections and more.

Ed-Data is a partnership of the California Department of Education, EdSource, and the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team/California School Information Services (FCMAT/CSIS) designed to offer educators, policy makers, the legislature, parents, and the public quick access to timely and comprehensive data about K-12 education in California.

The State of California Employment Development Department (EDD) Open Data Portal provides access to data and information related to California industries, occupations, employment projections, wages, and labor force. Users can search by category or keyword.

The California Department of Public Health's EPICenter contains data about California injuries resulting from trauma, electronics (such as firearms), drugs & alcohol, and traffic accidents.

Open FI$Cal displays data from the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal). This is California's financial transparency portal that allows the public to monitor state spending.

Users can search for criminal justice data, crime statistics, reports, and more in this data portal provided by the California Department of Justice.
