Computer Facilities for Users with Special Needs:
Please consult with Disability Resource Services located on the north side of the Library first floor.
Wireless access is provided throughout the CSU Stanislaus campus (including the parking lot areas) by the Office of Information Technology (OIT). Stan State users may access wireless service using their campus ID and password; guests and visitors may access by creating a guest account while on campus. For wireless access information, see the OIT page, Wireless Network Access Information.
When connected to the campus network, including the wireless network or the campus VPN, users will automatically be able to access Web-based Library resources. CSU Stanislaus-affiliated users (currently registered students, faculty and staff members) can also take advantage of the Library's proxy service to be authenticated to access licensed (i.e. restricted) Library resources from locations away from campus. No set-up or configuring of browsers is necessary: when using a link from OneSearch or the Library’s website to access a restricted resource, the proxy service will prompt you for your MyStanState credential. For questions about access or assistance searching databases and other electronic resources, please contact the Library Research Help Desk at 209-667-6558 or the virtual chat service on the Library homepage.
