Finding and accessing a specific journal

To determine if the university library has a specific journal:

Go to the library homepage.
Choose the OneSearch Advanced Search option (under the OneSearch box).
On the Advanced Search screen, choose the OneSearch Journal Search (at the top of the page).
Type in the name of the journal (or the ISSN).
If the library owns the journal online, there should be a record and a link to the journal online.

Finding a Specific Journal Article

If you're looking for journal articles on your topic, search an article database like CINAHL Plus with Full-Text (or other resources listed under the articles section of the Nursing guide.)

The CINAHL database is a tool to search for individual articles published in nursing journals. It is the library's primary subscription access to over 700 journals.
CINAHL® Plus also provides indexing for more than 5,000 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health. The database contains more than 4 million records dating back to 1937.

OneSearch Advanced Search
Type in the name of the article. If it does not appear in the initial results look for the * expand * option at the top of the search results, and/or choose to search CSU Collections and Beyond.

Lists and links of Nursing periodicals from the OneSearch catalog:

Nursing Journals
Lists from the OneSearch catalog of library subscriptions to selected online journals related to nursing.
Health Sciences Journals
Library subscriptions to online journals in medicine, public health, and related fields (listed by title of the journal).

Specific collections with significant nursing journal content:

Online research journals published by Elsevier. Library subscribes to 700+ titles, including 100 in nursing and related health fields.
