Westlaw Jurisdiction Limiter:

• Be sure to check the "Jurisdiction" limiter to make sure you are searching the correct content.
• It starts as "All Federal"  (unless you change it).

• Federal law;
  • Searches only cases, statutes, secondary sources, etc., concerning U.S. federal law
• Select a specific state / states;
• Select specific state plus related federal law (for that state).
  • Searches state law of chosen state;
  • Include Related Federal;
    • Includes federal law applying to entire nation, plus court opinions from appellate circuit covering selected state.

Include Related Federal

• Includes all law from that state;
• Includes federal law applying to entire nation,
  • Federal statutes and regulations;
  • U.S. Supreme Court;
  • Federal court opinions from appellate circuit covering selected state.
