Literary Fiction is a style of fiction that focuses on characters and theme, rather than plot. Books in this category are not expected to fit into typical tropes or genres, but they may have some elements of certain genres. These books will often have themes that tie into society and human experience. These are sometimes referred to as realistic fiction.
Classics are works of literature that span multiple genres. They are typically characterized by having stood the test of time, having significant merit, and often have had a large influence on literature and culture of their time, as well as continuing to have relevance today.
Literary and classic books can be found in the Fiction section of the Popular Books Collection.
