Add a text box to your page. Text within a text box can be modified by size, font, or style. The text box can be duplicated or deleted anytime.
Text boxes can be repositioned anywhere on your page. Click on the box and drag, Google sites will show you the locations on the page where you are allowed to reposition your box.
Images
Resize, crop, or add a link to an image.
Images can be selected via free Google images or uploaded from your device.
Embed
Website (URL): Embed a website into your own Google site. The website will be accessible via your site, meaning users can interactive with the website you embed within your site. You can also link TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter posts.
Video (Embed code): You can embed a media file like a video to your site. For example, if you'd like to embed a YouTube, click on the share button or icon under the YouTube video, then select "embed code." Copy the embed code then paste it into the embed code box in your Google site.
Or any other media content with an embed code. The embed code is usually found under "Share" icon of media post. Copy and paste the embed code on to the embed code box in your Google site.
Drive
You can upload files from your Google drive, like image files, PDF's etc.
Content Blocks
Content Blocks are already designed sections you can add to your Google site. Content blocks are great to insert to add creative and accessible structures to your site and to organize your content.
For most of the content blocks, you can insert images, videos, text and more.
Collapsible Group
Collapsible groups hide content under a collapsible header, like files in a folder. Use this tool if you have a lot of content or text you want to add to your site but don't want to overwhelm the user with too much information.
The collapsible group hides the main content. A user must click on the collapsible header to see the main content.
Table of Contents
The table of contents lets you organize your content so that users can easily navigate quickly to what they want to see. Use a table of contents if you have a lot of information on your site, for example if users have to scroll down a lot to see most of your information.
Normally the table of contents is at the top of the google site page.
The table of contents works as links to the main header sections in your google site.
Image Carousel
Add an image carousel to showcase a gallery of images in your site.
Add images by uploading or selecting from Google's free images.
Once the image has been uploaded or selected, you can add a caption or alternative text (alternative text is text meant for screen readers, or software used by people with vision impairments. The alternative text describes the image).
Click on the settings (gear/cogwheel) to edit the images, captions and alt text
Click on the settings, then click on the settings icon within the edit carousel box to access more settings. For accessibility reasons, keep the "show dots' check box checked. If you want your carousel to play on its own, like an automatic slideshow, select "auto start."

Divider: Adds a divider to your page; for structure and organization
