Books & Other Resources

While most journal articles are available online (either owned by the university and/or easy to request via Interlibrary Loan), other materials (such as books and videos) are not always as easily accessible online. The University Library provides online access to over 100,000 books and can also provide:

OneSearch
Lists books owned by the University Library, including over 100,000 ebooks (most of which have 24/7/365 unlimited access).
Interlibrary Loan Services
For books not available online, small portions (e.g. chapters) can usually be requested via Interlibrary Loan and delivered online. The library can also sometimes purchase or license online versions of entire books when they are available and needed to support coursework and research.

Textbooks: The library generally does not purchase textbooks, and most textbook publishers will not sell an institutional license to a library. For textbooks required for class, please work with your instructor and the nursing liaison librarian about access options.
For other materials not available online, the nursing liaison librarian will work with students and instructors to address individual research and course needs.
