For this assignment, you will need to develop a research question after consulting your instructor.
To learn more about your interest in order to propose a research question, you can research it in various resources:
- Encyclopedias. Credo Reference is a library subscription database of online encyclopedias for all disciplines. Learn more about your topic in these brief encyclopedia entries by clicking on the link or from the library homepage > Databases A-Z.
- Wikipedia and the Web can be good for official .gov or authoritative .org websites -- and also any website with an opinion. For authoritative websites, see the Other Resources tab on the left.
- The library subscribes to the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, which you can keyword search.
- Library subscription databases can give you the latest news and statistics, as well as more in-depth scholarly treatments of topics. You can search across databases using OneSearch, or explore discipline specific databases under Articles by Subject.
