Zotero  

• Collect, manage, organize and cite sources.
• Supports most academic citation styles (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
• No cost.
• Download and install.
  • Online account provides some basic access to managing sources.

EndNote

• Well established and robust reference management tool for scholars and researchers.
• Full version requires individual purchase.
• How to Use EndNote (video tutorial for beginners).

EasyBib

• Online form which quickly generates a citation in the appropriate style (APA, MLA, etc.).
  • User can usually enter a URL or basic title/author information to generate a citation.
• Many basic features are usually free.
• More advanced features (usually any APA style citation) require an individual, relatively low-cost subscription.
• Provides options to cite in multiple styles:
  • Cite in MLA style using EasyBib.
  • Cite in APA style using EasyBib.
