Library Pop Book Club

Welcome to the Library Pop Book Club!

The Library Pop Book Club, formerly known as the Stockton Bookis by the fall 2023 cohort, was formed in fall 2023. It is a student-led book club discussing books found in our popular books collection.

Meeting format:

• In-person at the Main Library or Stockton Campus Library
• Virtual via Zoom

Meeting Structure

Discussions:

• Plot development
• Character development
• Character choices
• Protagonist vs. antagonist

Questions and activities exploring the literature piece(s)

Selected Novels and Stories:

Reading materials are selected for the fall and spring semesters. Selected books, across various genres, fall under the "popular books" or "bestselling" categories, and are usually published in the 21st century. Literary short stories are selected to accompany the selected book and encourage the practice of analyzing and studying contemporary and classic literature.
