Searching from off campus:

• When you click on the name of the database from off-campus, enter your CSUStan e-mail ID before the @ sign and your password. 

MEDLINE

• Index to articles in medical, dentistry, and nursing journals from 1965 - present.
• University Library's homepage http://library.csustan.edu
• Click Journal Articles and Databases, then click Medicine or Nursing Databases.
• Click on MEDLINE (through FirstSearch).
• Try starting with a keyword search.
• Use core terms or phrases for your search, not sentences.
• Separate different concepts with the word and (for example, aerobic capacity and swimming and testing).
• Browse through the results and look at the descriptors to get ideas for other search terms.
• You may limit your results to subscriptions held by my library to find articles from journals to which we subscribe.

• Click to see if the article is available in full-text online or in print.
