Interlibrary Loan:  Most materials which are not owned by the Library may  be obtained through interlibrary loan from other libraries.  Depending on the material requested, this service typically requires between one and two weeks.  Lending periods are determined by the lending libraries.  Forms for requesting materials through interlibrary loan are available online or at the Reference Desk.
Remote Access from Your Home or Office:  From locations on campus, you will automatically be able to access Web-based Library resources.  Currently registered CSUS students can also take advantage of the Library's proxy service to be authenticated to access licensed (i.e. restricted) Library resources from locations away from campus.  No set-up or configuring of browsers is required: the proxy server will prompt you for input when you attempt to use one of the restricted resources.  For questions about access or assistance searching databases or other electronic resources, please contact the Library Reference Desk (telephone 667-3233).
Renewing Library Materials:  Materials borrowed from the library may be renewed online (selected circumstances only) or at the the Circulation Desk.  Provided no holds have been placed on them, materials will be renewed for another circulation period.
