A tailored research skills session can help your students learn how to locate books and journal articles, evaluate Internet sources, and start their research under a librarian's guideance. Research skills sessions should be focused on your students' needs for a specific assignment, so a copy of the assignment sheet is appreciated. The sessions are most effective when scheduled after your students have the research assignment in hand.
Please give as much advance notice as possible, because the library computer lab is booked on a first-come, first-serve basis, and librarians must fit the session into their schedules.
