Boolean Operators

Boolean operators are connectors (AND, OR, NOT) used to produce more relevant/precise search results.

AND	OR	NOT
All specified items must appear. Narrows search by combining different concepts. Makes search more precise.	Either one or the other specified term must appear. Broadens search by combining same concepts. Use for synonyms or like concepts or variant spelling.	Excludes specified terms. Narrows search.
