Access Full Library Edition of EasyBib | Refresh Your Account | Video Tutorial
Note: Anyone with a personal EasyBib "Notebook" should export the contents before July 14, 2017.
The EasyBib Notebook feature is being retired on July 14, 2017.
The notebook feature allows you to add quotations and notes about individual sources listed in your bibliographies for each source/citation. After the notebook feature is retired, users with a registered account will still be able to access any citations/sources, bibliographies, and projects saved in their account for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Add Coupon Code to Access to EasyBib during the 2017/2018 academic year:
CSU Stanislaus will users need to update any personal logins with the Coupon Code (sent via email and/or available online) for access in 2017/2018.
Accounts without the Coupon Code attached will revert to the "free account" (which only provides access to the MLA Citation style) in July 2017. After this point, Stan State users will need to add the CSU Stanislaus Coupon Code to enhance any EasyBib personal account to access all EasyBib EDU functionality, including all citation styles, personalized bibliographies, and projects.

Note: EasyBib is phasing all institutional access in July 2018. For the 2017-2018 academic year, CSU Stanislaus users will have free access the EasyBib EDU version that includes support for all citation styles, existing/new bibliographies (personalized lists of citations/sources), and projects. Starting in July 2018, EasyBib will no longer support institutional access (but individual users will be able to purchase individual accounts).

What is EasyBib?
EasyBib is a citation formatting and management tool provided free of charge to CSU Stanislaus students by the University Library.
Do I still need a style manual?
EasyBib is a useful tool, but as with any citation formatting software program, it is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. To ensure the accuracy of your citations, consult the official style manual for the style you are using (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
Call numbers for locating the library's copies of the official style manuals can be found on the library's APA, MLA, and Chicago Style pages.
Do I need to register for EasyBib?
You only need to register if you want to keep and manage your list of citations from session to session.
For a free upgrade from a personal account to the Library's premium account, login to your personal account after accessing an EasyBib from a link on the CSU Stanislaus Library site.
How do I use EasyBib?
Gather the information needed to cite a source (author, title, publication information, etc.) and enter it into the online forms provided by EasyBib. See the Video tutorial for more information.
How do I access EasyBib?
Any link to EasyBib from the University Library's website will provide CSU Stanislaus students access to the library's account free of charge.

To use a Facebook, Google, Yahoo, AOL or Open ID account to access EasyBib:
You must login to EasyBib with your Facebook, Google, etc., account while on the CSU Stanislaus campus. This will upgrade your account to "EasyBib Pro" for free under the CSU Stanislaus campus subscription.
After your account has been upgraded, to access the full Pro account from off-campus using a Facebook, Google, etc., simply go straight to EasyBib (http://easybib.com).

All CSU Stanislaus personal premium accounts are downgraded to free accounts upon the library's renewal of the EasyBib subscription (every July). To upgrade your account back to a full account using the library's subscription:
If you login to EasyBib using your Facebook, Google, Yahoo, AOL, or OpenID account:
Visit the CSU Stanislaus campus (and use a workstation on campus or access the Internet using the Campus Wireless network).
Login to EasyBib using one of the library's links to EasyBib.
If you have a separate login for EasyBib, simply use one of the library's links to EasyBib and login to your account.
After you login using your personal EasyBib account, your personal account should then be re-upgraded to the Library's EasyBib Pro status.
