Datastream - Database Description & Information

Datastream is available on a Collaboratory workstation during Reference hours.
Datastream software is only on one library workstation  (the "scanning" station across from the Reference Desk).
Please ask a Reference Librarian during Reference hours for access.

What is It? Analyze companies using data on securities, financial instruments, economic conditions and market developments.
What's Covered:  Securities, financial instruments, economic data, news, and market data.
Dates Covered:  Up to 50 years of historical data.
Access:    The College of Business provides the library with one workstation allowing CSU Stanislaus students, faculty and staff access to the Datastream Direct service. Please ask at the Library Reference Desk for the username and password and access to the workstation with the Datastream sofotware.
Simultaneous Users:    The University's Datastream subscription allows for only one user access at a time. If you are unable to access the product, please try again in 15-30 minutes. When you have completed your Datastream session, please exit the software to release the service for another CSU Stanislaus user.
