Fines
Library fines occur when:
-
Books, reserve items, videos or other library materials are returned or renewed after the due date.
-
Items overdue for 90 days or more are assumed to be lost and your account will be billed for the replacement cost plus a service charge. At this time a hold is also placed on grades, transcripts and registration.
-
The University turns unpaid accounts over to a collection agency after 1 year. An additional 30% collections charge will be added to all accounts handled by the Collection Agency.
